-System imaging and deployment software and strategies

-Server virtualisation and Open Directory 

Current Projects

-Developing a multi-virtual-server platform for London Knowledge Lab, using Parallels Server as the type-2 hypervisor

-Storage Consolidation Project, working closely with colleagues on planning and deploying a new SAN infrastructure for the IOE.

-Planning MCX for the Institute of Education's Mac clients

-Website migration. Working alongside colleagues at the IOE and another university to migrate a complex CMS-driven site to our webservers.

Technical qualifications

Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (Mac OS X 10.6) certified

Academic qualifications

MA in Modern History and an MSt in Historical Research, both from Oxford University.
