I undertake the administration of the ESRC-funded MODE project (Multimodal Methods for Researching Digital Data and Environments) The project is developing multimodal methodologies for social scientists, providing systematic ways to investigate all modes of communication used in digital environments, whether they are sites of learning, work, or ‘social' sites (e.g. Facebook).

My varied role includes:
- Coordination of extensive programme of training and capacity building events held across the UK including an international conference involving 200 delegates

- Comprehensive financial administration including budget monitoring, expense-processing, purchasing,

- Management of project's publicity and communication including building, maintaining and developing project website and sub-sites

- Collating and reporting on project outputs, commercial impact, finances and future plans

- Assisting with editing of Sage Journal of Visual Communication and Routledge Handbook of Multimodal Analysis

- Oversee all HR/clerical/PA-duties involved in the running of the project and support of the team.
