Diane Carr is a Lecturer in Media and Cultural Studies. Her research interests include subjectivity and representation, virtual worlds and MMORPGs, and digital games 'as texts'. Project work includes 'Learning from online worlds; Teaching in Second Life' and 'Computer Games, Motivation and Gender' (both funded by The Eduserv Foundation) plus 'Textuality and games' (funded by the AHRB).
