LKL has won one of three hotly-contested awards under the call for research on technology enhanced learning, funded by the EPSRC/ESRC and administered by the Teaching and Learning Research Programme.

LKL's co-director and principal investigator, Richard Noss, is leading an interdisciplinary team of researchers based at the Lab including Alex Poulovassilis (co-director of LKL), Celia Hoyles, Ken Kahn, George Magoulas and Niall Winters. The £1.5m project aims to co- design, build and evaluate, with teachers and teacher educators, a  pedagogical and technical environment for improving 11-14 year-old  students’ learning of mathematical generalisation.

The project will be appointing several researchers in the near future: watch this space!
