A retrospective of the Open Day on 6th June 2008. Read on for photos and recordings.
The Open Day 2008 was on the 6 June and we were delighted to see over 80 visitors attending and catching up with the LKL's projects and researchers. The opening speech was given by the Rt. Hon Charles Clarke MP, who as a long time champion of technology enhanced learning took the opportunity to tour and comment on various projects before his speech. One of Charles Clarke's main points was that academic research needs to be better integrated with more industrial partners, something the LKL was more than adequately able to demonstrate. The themes of the Open Day this year were:
