While the original Pecha Kucha format demands a presentation of 20 slides with 20 seconds per slide, the format adopted by the conference required participants to present nine slides with 45 seconds per slide. Based on a combination of delegate votes and committee decisions, Professor John Cook from London Metropolitan University announced five winners in the short presentation category at the conference gala dinner on 7 September. Tim Neumann was one of the winners with his engaging presentation Matchmaking Learning Technologists and Flourishing Collaborations: The Case of The Bloomsbury Colleges.
