Software Designer/Developer (Flash) - (0.8 of full-time)
Salary up to pro-rata of £32,325 inclusive Appointment available for one year - job-share considered

The London Knowledge Lab seeks to appoint a HCI Software Designer/ Developer as part of a project team conducting research into the use of digital media in mathematics education. A key aspect of the role will be to develop a Pocket PC software application in Macromedia Flash.

You will work collaboratively to design and iteratively develop the user interface and underlying model for the application and will also design screen-based representations of mechanics. In addition, you will be required to conduct reviews of national and international research literature, and to help in the preparation of reports on the design and development process.

You will have a good first degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design or a related field, at least one year's experience of software development, preferably for mobile applications and an up to date awareness of current issues in the field of Human-Computer interaction.
