Children’s Playground games in the Age of New Media   Print

This seminar will present the outline of a new research project conducted from the Centre for the Study of Children, Youth and Media at the London Knowledge Lab, with partners from the universities of Sheffield and East London. Funded by the AHRC's Beyond Text programme, it will produce a digital archive and website of children's oral culture with the British Library, conduct ethnographic studies of games in primary schools, and develop a Wii version of a suite of games with Nintendo UK.
