The aim of this seminar is to explore how, in the convergence of technologies of representation and information, the ICT-in-education community might learn to keep the cultural function of such technologies in view, while media and literacy specialists might consider the implications of their 'texts' becoming computable. Some examples will be used from classrooms of digitally authored work in animation, video and computer games.
The three discussants will comment on how the issues raised in this project might be re-framed from the perspective of their own disciplines and research interests. |
