Qualcomm's Cambridge R&D Centre was recently established to pursue research in the area of wireless and mobile technology. Their research interests are broad and cover user experience, proximate networking, and context-aware computing. In the area of user experience they are researching gestures and other novel interaction methods for controlling mobile devices. Their collaborative culture fosters interdisciplinary research to create innovative solutions that will have an impact in the mobile marketplace. They are also actively pursuing collaborations with the academic and high-tech communities.

There will also be some short presentations and demonstrations from LKL from 12:00-1:00 (details to be confirmed).
