Sonic Postcards is a learning project that explores and compares the local environments of young people through their creative use of ICT (specifically audio and visual recording devices, software, the www and school computers). It incorporates a range of curricular subjects, provides in service
training for teachers and is delivered by Sonic Arts Network and a range of other partner organisations (from NESTA to the RSPB) to schools right across the UK.Becca Laurence (Project Director) and Phil Hallett (Sonic Arts Network CEO) talk about Sonic Arts Network's context for the project and present some of its outcomes over the last 18 months.
