First meeting in a series of a new LKL reading group on Representation, Learning and Technology. The first meeting will discuss the following paper: - Re-representation and Emergent Information in Three Cases of Problem Solving. Peterson, D. M. (1994). Artificial Intelligence and Creativity. T. H. Dartnall (ed). Dordrecht, Kluwer: 81-92.
The reading group will explore different theoretical approaches to and conceptions of representation, in the context of learning and new technologies, the intention is also to work toward a loose network of people across the LKL (and IoE) working within this area of interest. All welcome. |
