| David Buckingham and Rebekah Willett have been awarded funding by the Scottish Parliament to undertake research on ëSexualised goods aimed at childrení.† David and Rebekah are working in collaboration with Sara Bragg (Open University) and Rachel Russell (Glasgow Caledonian University). The aim of the six-month research project is to provide concrete empirical evidence and to encourage informed debate about the prevalence of ësexualisedí goods and products that are marketed at children. The project involves a literature review, a survey of sexualised goods aimed at children, focus group interviews with parents and activities in secondary schools. |
