New Research Project: GeoSciTeach: a teacher-based geo-spatial application for orchestrating scientific fieldwork activity.This project is funded under the geospatial strand of the JISC Infrastructure for Education and Research Programme. It aims to increase the use of geospatial tools in teacher training education, inform future requirements for their integration into teacher training curriculum, by developing, deploying and evaluating development of an innovative application using modern mobile smart phones to enhance science teacher trainee's geospatial skills, and provide effective tools for integrating GIS into science teaching practice.
The project is led by Sara Price along with George Roussos, Carey Jewitt and Paul Davies.
