The WebReports on-line collaboration system
One of the major outcomes of the project is a web-based collaboration system which combines model-sharing and knowledge-building. This system was developed to support our learning activities, and with time acquired several other important fuctionalities, such as teacher training and collaborative research support.
The WebReports site is built upon the Plone architecture, a content management system which in turn uses the web application server Zope. We also use the Apache web server. The physical server itself runs a version of Debian GNU/Linux.
