Bloomsbury Academic Showcase 2012: Moodle Launch Print

The Bloomsbury Colleges celebrate the new Bloomsbury Learning Environment based on the platform Moodle with a launch event on 7th June.

Bloomsbury Learning EnvironmentHeld in the Khalili Lecture Theatre at SOAS, this launch event will have short presentations of how Moodle is already being used for both distance education and to support courses with face-to-face elements. There will be opportunities for discussion, and the day will end with a reception.

Moodle Training Sessions - April Update Print

Moodle LogoThe Moodle training dates for the summer term 2012 are now available from the Moodle Training page on this website, including booking details. On a weekly basis, we are offering Moodle inductions and course design sessions.

In addition to these sessions, stakeholder-specific workshops are being arranged, for example sessions for programme administrators. These groups will be contacted separately with further information.

If you have any questions/suggestions, or if you want to arrange a bespoke training session for your programme team, please contact the LTU.


Month of Moodle: Please note the final Month of Moodle sessions on 11, 12 and 13 April are in different rooms than usual!

Bookings will open as soon as we receive room confirmations, and once confirmed, the training schedule will be announced by email via Staff Development and on the dedicated Moodle Training page on this website.

Moodle Training Sessions - February Update Print

Moodle LogoWithin a very short time, most Moodle training sessions for March reached capacity - much faster than we anticipated. We are currently investigating whether we have enough resources to run further sessions in March.

We are planning to release training dates for the summer term within the next two weeks. These will be announced on this website (both on the front page and on the dedicated Moodle Training page) and by email via Staff Development.
