Assessment Careers Print

The JISC-funded Assessment Careers project runs from 2012 to 2014 and aims to identify current assessment practices, with a view to pilot new methods and roll them out on an organisation-wide scale.

From Pedagogic Research to Embedded e-Learning Print

The PREEL project is funded by the Higher Education Academy through the pathfinder scheme. After taking part in the HEA e-learning benchmarking exercise as one of the first pilot institutions, the pathfinder programme at the Institute of Education aims to put the rich outputs of e-learning research into teaching practice.

Teaching Quality Enhancement Fund Project Print

The four main goals for this project are to:

  1. Create pedagogical templates for the integration of technology into learning and teaching
  2. Develop staff development materials and activities for the integration of technology into learning and teaching
  3. Develop evaluation tools for staff to use within their online and mixed mode provision
  4. Identify effective practice in the use of technology in learning and teaching at the IoE and showcase contextualised descriptions of this practice.
