Overview
The Institute's Primary PGCE programme offers over 250 places in full-time, part-time and language specialism primary routes and involves a programme of placements, lectures, workshops, tutorials and self-study, supported by a virtual learning environment.The Primary PGCE is run in partnership with over 350 primary schools in and around London who are jointly responsible for the programme and its development, through strong links between the Institute and school-based elements of the course.

Core learning activities and administrative support are online. Face-to-face events such as workshops are held to initiate or wrap up online activities, e.g. at the start and half way through the course.
