Mini Course: Web 2.0 Learning Print

Web 2.0 and social media are becoming part of everyday life for many people, particularly the younger generations. Do these tools have potential for teaching and learning? This session gives you a snapshot of the possibilities. In this session you will:

  • Find out what Web 2.0 is
  • Explore the relationship between Web 2.0 tools and Virtual Learning Environments
  • See demonstrations of a variety of tools with educational potential
  • See a model which can be used to put any Web 2.0 tool in the right context
