We are introducing the new Bloomsbury Learning Environment (BLE) at the IOE, which is based on the popular open-source platform Moodle.
This workshop will take you through the steps to prepare your programme or module space. It is open to all staff.
Starting off from the IOE's minimum student entitlement to on-line support, we will look at the those elements that any programme and/or module site should include, and where to place those elements. We will then explore different ways of structuring your programme/module site and how Moodle can support the student learning experience.
In this workshop, you can work on your own module site or on a testing site. The workshop will focus on how to upload, create and structure resources and activities in order to prepare a site that represents your programme/module best and is easy to navigate.
We also offer an advanced course design workshop that will go into more depth of the advanced functions, such as automatic release of materials and preparation for detailed progress monitoring.
