It is a Bloomin' better way to teach and learn

Our Australian guest speakers Allan Carrington and Dr Ian Green are running a seminar on the use of iPads in Higher Education. In a condensed version of their established three-workshop series, Allan and Ian are introducing the iPad for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and beyond.

This seminar gives ideas of the latest use of Bloom's Digital Taxonomy and how the iPad can serve the pedagogy. It has reference to over 60 apps, and participants can follow up with 18 video-based tutorials.

About the Presenters

Both presenters are Apple Distinguished Educators in recognition for their contributions to innovation in e-learning.

Allan Carrington is a Learning Designer with the Centre for Learning and Professional Development at the University of Adelaide. He has a background in printing, publishing, web development and educational multimedia. He has taught in communications, marketing and research, print production and using the Internet for Education.

Dr Ian Green coordinates the Research Careers section of the Researcher Education & Development Unit at the University of Adelaide. He also teaches into the Linguistics programme, and he has published in both areas as well as in emerging technologies.
