So you're in Second Life... what now? How can we make this a space for cultural exchange and creative exploration? For that matter, how can we make a networked environment in general, a place for play and collaborative creation? How can we draw from our personal experiences to create or strengthen a connection in a shared virtual space? What kinds of collaborative methodologies lend themselves to learning about culture and creative thinking in a networked space?
Josephine Dorado (http://funksoup.com/bio.htm), a media/performing artist, director and educator, gives a presentation of the Kids Connect project and a discussion about online collaboration via theater-inspired methodologies and digital storytelling in Second Life.
